		Back in 2008 we introduced an area of the site just for Society members. Current resources include access to articles from the Bulletin, free vector digital outlines and some useful Illustrator resources. Access to this resource is by username and password, which is sent to members when they either join or renew their membership. When you receive these details just click here to visit this resource. Everyone interested in maps is welcome to join the Society of Cartographers. Whether you are employed as a cartographer, care for maps, create maps for a hobby or just have an interest in cartography, we have something to offer you. The Society is renowned for its friendly atmosphere, and the opportunity it provides for networking with colleagues (particularly at its yearly Summer School conference) is an invaluable part of membership. Our membership year begins on 1 January each year, and all members receive a copy of the SoC Bulletin published within their membership year.
